Jillian Jodrey is an emerging self-taught artist from Nova Scotia. In 2020 after 11 years of work as a continuing care assistant, Jillian leaned into her creative side.

She creates because it is fun and challenges her mind to see the details of everything and everyone around her. Using acrylic and watercolours, she focuses on pet portraits and small works packed full of detail.

Her work has been shown at Chester Art Centre and The Bread Gallery.
2019-2021 She worked with En Pointe Performing Arts as the art instructor for ages 5-10, She then moved to Chester Art Centre’s Afterschool programs until 2022 providing programing and classes to ages 5-14.
She is currently the manager of The Bread Gallery bringing group exhibitions to life in her current community.
